Pupil Premium Grant
Pupil Premium at Castlemorton CE Primary School
Our Commitment to Supporting Every Child
At Castlemorton C.E. Primary School, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to achieve their full potential. The Pupil Premium funding, provided by the government, plays a crucial role in helping us support children who may face additional barriers to learning due to financial or social disadvantage. We are committed to using this funding effectively to close the attainment gap and support each child’s academic, social, and emotional development.
What is the Pupil Premium?
The Pupil Premium is additional funding allocated to schools to raise the achievement of disadvantaged pupils and ensure all children have equal access to opportunities. This funding is specifically targeted to support:
• Pupils eligible for free school meals (FSM), or who have been eligible at any point in the last six years.
• Children in the care of the local authority or previously in care.
• Pupils with a parent in the armed forces.
How We Use Pupil Premium Funding
At Castlemorton C.E. Primary School, we allocate Pupil Premium funding to areas that will have the most significant impact on our pupils’ progress and wellbeing. Our strategies include:
• Targeted Academic Support
• Emotional and Social Development
• Enrichment and Extra-Curricular Opportunities:
• Parental Engagement and Support
Our Impact
Each year, we review our use of Pupil Premium funding to assess its impact on pupil progress and outcomes. We carefully monitor the progress of all pupils eligible for Pupil Premium support, ensuring that our strategies are effective and responsive to their changing needs. We are proud of the progress made by our pupils and are committed to continuously improving our support to close the gap and foster a thriving learning environment for all.
Pupil Premium Strategy and Report
Transparency is important to us, and we regularly publish our Pupil Premium Strategy and Impact Report. These documents provide details of how we allocate our funding, the interventions in place, and the measurable outcomes for our pupils.
As a school we choose not to publish our Pupil Premium Strategy on our website, as we have 5 or less pupils who access this funding and we do not in any way wish to make them identifiable. However, if you would like a copy of our Pupil Premium Strategy, then please come in to the office to ask for a hard copy or email office@castlemorton.dowmat.education and we would be happy to share this with you.
